In this Semester 5, we have started this Final Year Project - Food Product Development which in phase 1. I still remember the excitement when getting to know who is my team members for this project (because we need to stay for a whole year - not only 1 semester). π When revealing our team members, I was quite worried if I can work with them or not, to be honest, maybe it's because we didn't have many chances to work in a group before.π And while revealing our final year project's topic, I felt surprised and quite familiar because of this topic "keto diet" was my presentation topic in my semester 1.
So, in the first class, after the briefing, we were seated in groups and have a discussion to create a research tool for domain 1, which is the Survey Questionnaire. It was my first time to experience a real group discussion. (To elaborate more on what is a real group discussion, π everyone in the group contributes ideas and opinions when creating a questionnaire, there was no one being left out or not involved in the discussion). Everyone respected each other and listen to each other's opinion. The thing that I have gained from here is learning to be a part of the team and listened to other's opinion as well as a voice out when I have any questions/ doubts. I was not used to raising out my opinion in a group as I always afraid that I would be judged by others and I was not confident with myself. But this is my first time step out and learn to be not only just accept other's opinion but also learn to accept myself π Besides, design a Survey is not that simple, what I have learnt from this is to put ourselves in other's shoes because when we design the survey ourself we might not see the mistakes if we just stand on only one perspective. However, if change the way we think, change to the perspective of people who fill up the survey, we will notice some mistakes that we cannot notice is only on the "designer" perspective. Also, I learn to be looking at other's groups' feedbacks to improve ours and amend our, for example, got one group, their introduction is good, section B question set is good. so we will refer to theirs and think if we should modify our questions or the way to improve our questionnaire.

| Market Study Survey Data collection day @ Taylor's University. |
During my presentation, I was very nervous until I was very very blank, my hands were cold & shaking (and I think I most probably would "faint" because I was too anxious and couldn't calm down HAHAHAππ). After the presentation, I realised that I very lack confidence when standing in front and didn't dare to answer questions because got some questions from the slide we had been discussing for many days but don't have an answer as we knew that we have done wrongly for some part and we cannot change anything (e.g. the income level should include the allowance).
From domain 1, I also learnt that we should always have justification on what we are doing (keep asking ourselves what information we need, why we ask, how the information can be used). It should not only be applied in this project but I think we also should apply this way of thinking in real life in order to understand the decision we made can affect big things to happen. The engine of my brain is started to work out for this domain.π (I was not used to thinking much, now it's time to start to keep thinking.π)
