FPD 1_Domain 4. Feasibility Study

Here comes to domain 4, feasibility Study. In this domain, we were required to calculate the success rate of the 5 revised alpha concepts in order to foresee the workability of each concept as well as all the challenges. In this domain, we need to look for the suppliers and ask for the price.

A feasibility study is to find out the workability of the concepts which fit in the spec/criteria for the items. 

Yes, we really need to let it go in this domain.

This domain, I realised that we really need to do things in professional ways as we are researching for the ingredients/material/equipment that can be found in the industry. In this domain, we need to be very honest when calculating the success rate. After all, we found out that we like the most, which is the Salted Egg Yolk Bar, it has a low success rate due to the konjac rice used (culinary challenges), and the salted egg yolk filling (formulation & processing challenges) 😢 and it's less workable because of too much of the different elements to prepare (even we are trying to 'cheat' on the success rate, it's still the lowest😭😭😭). From here, I learnt that we cannot too like/love something because it's hard for us to let it go and we tend to be biased😔, so we need to be fair to everything, we shouldn't have bias, and we should look at the concepts from the perspective of we are creating a product for consumer and also boss, we are not creating for only ourselves. We have to consider if the ideas are workable or not as well.

This domain maybe is easy for someone who likes to use laptop, but for me, I think this domain is a bit boring as I just sitting in front of the laptop and Google search. I like to have interaction with people than just typing on the keyboard, I started to miss domain 1 & 2 😗. This domain makes me understand that a Book is very important and useful when doing research 😂 (e.g. to understand the rheological function of technical ingredients.)

During this domain presentation, I felt that I am able to improve myself when presented in terms of noticing my feelings and calm my self down at that moment.

Domain 4 & 5 presentation dress code: Colour code. I was sad because we didn't take any group photos😢 (Every domain presentation, we have a dress code: white {domain 1}, blue {domain 2}, pink {domain 3-10alpha concepts}, marron{domain 3-5revised AC}, for this domain is rainbow colour😂
